Fourth of July
Why was it their time to die?
I know they went to heaven
but I don't know why
I know they're with the angels that fly
It all happened on the fourth of July
please tell me why it was them
It was a rainy night
I know two boys that died
they flew away happy on that night
I know they didn't go to the lake of fire
Why was it their time to die
I know they went to heaven
but it was way to soon
we all know they're with the angels
that fly
We all will remember that night
that night on the fourth of July

The Jelly Bean Poem for Grieving Families
RED is for my love for you that will never sever...
For the love is not measured by the time we had together...
but what's in our hearts forever
GREEN is for memories that I always will treasure...
Although time may pass...our memories will last
...forever and ever and ever
YELLOW is for Sunshine that you have gave to me...
You brightened up my life and made my world shine
And will continue to shine brilliantly for the rest of time.
ORANGE is for the candles flame I light in memory of you...
Flame that glows so bright as I speak your name in prayer...
Asking God to hold you close...until I join you there.
BLACK is for my grief from my broken shattered heart
Taking each day one and a time...as I keep you memory alive...
Life is different...I am different...but I CAN and WILL survive.
PURPLE is for tears I shed as I remember you...
Precious memories you left behind...preserved deep inside...
You will always live on through our family...forever by our side.
WHITE is for my hope and faith in God above...
The promise of resurrection...knowing we will reunite...
Above the clouds...over the rainbow...in His everlasting light.
PINK is for the signs you send from Heaven up above...
Lighting my path wherever I go...and whatever I may do...
My precious child...I will always love...and always remember you.
RED is for my love for you that will never sever...
For the love is not measured by the time we had together...
but what's in our hearts forever
GREEN is for memories that I always will treasure...
Although time may pass...our memories will last

Miss Me - But Let Me Go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me,
I want no rites in a gloom filled room,
Why cry for a soul set free.
Miss me a little - but not too long,
And not with your head bowed low.
Remember the love that we once shared;
Miss me - but let me go.
For this is a journey that we all must take,
And each must go alone.
It's all a part of the Master's plan;
A step on the road to home.
When you are lonely and sick of heart,
Go to the friends we know,
And bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.
Miss me - but let me go.
"I will be missing you"
you were so full of life,
always smiling and carefree.
life loved you being a part of it,
and i loved you being a part of me.
you could make anyone laugh,
if they were having a bad day.
no matter how sad i was,
you could take the hurt away.
nothing could ever stop you,
or even make you fall,
you were ready to take on the world,
ready to do it all.
but god decided he needed you,
so from this world you left.
but you took a piece of all of us,
our hearts are what you kept.
your seat is now empty,
and its hard not to see your face.
but please know this,
no one will ever take your place.
you left without a warning,
not even saying good-bye.
and i cant seem to stop,
asking the question why.
nothing will ever be the same,
the halls are empty without your laughter.
but i know you're up in heaven,
watching over us and looking after.
i didn't see this coming,
it hit me by surprise.
and when you left this world,
a small part of us died.
your smile could brighten anyone's day,
no matter what they were going through.
and i know every day for the rest of my life,
i will be missing you.
My First Christmas In Heaven
I see the countless Christmas trees around the world below,
With tiny lights like Heaven's star reflecting on the snow.
The sight is so spectacular; Please wipe away the tear,
For I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
But the sounds of music can't compare with the Christmas choir up here.
I have no words to tell you the joy their voices bring,
For it is beyond description to hear the angels sing.
I know you miss me; I see the pain inside your heart,
But I am not so far away; we really aren't apart.
So be happy for me, dear ones, you know I hold you dear,
And be glad I'm spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
I sent you each a special gift from my Heavenly home above.
I sent you each a memory of my undying love;
After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold.
It was always most important in the stories Jesus told.
Please love and keep each other as my Father said to do,
For I can't count the blessings or love he has for each of you.
So have a Merry Christmas, wipe away that tear.
Remember, I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.

Mom, Please Listen To Me
Mom, please listen to me
As I take time to write.
I see parents struggling daily.
Their pain is such a fight..
All of us who have gone on
And left the rest of you behind..
We're ok, Mom, I promise..
Heaven is beautiful, and God is kind.
You used to tell me that one day
God would call and take you home.
You told me you'd make me strong
So I would stand tall when alone.
But things happen sometimes, Mom
That does not go in our plans.
I wasn't scared, Mom,
When God held out his hand.
I didn't want to leave you.
I didn't have time to say good bye
When the angels said, "Come with us.",
There wasn't time to question why.
I've watched you daily, Mom.
It hurts to see you cry.
I don't want you to be unhappy,
Just because we didn't get to say good bye.
Tell the others what I'm telling you,
So many parents need to know
That Earth was just a lay over
We had another place to go.
I know you miss me, Mom
I know your heart was broken in two,
But God really needed me
Because my earthly life was through.
I'm always alongside you..
I smile and touch your hair.
I whisper "Mom, I love you",
You just can't see me there.
I'm the one who gently touches you
On your shoulder when you're sad.
I'm happy now that you finally found
God again, and are no longer mad.
Tell the parents, Mom, for me
That all of us kids are okay.
God had plans for our lives
When he called us home that day.
I love you, Mom, I always will
And remember I'm not far away.
We're going to be together
When God calls out your name.
